Buggies and Babies

Our Buggy Group was founded in 1992 for all the young mothers on the new Bramingham estate. Twenty-nine years later it is going strong for a second generation of Bramingham Babies.

Our Buggy Group meets on Tuesday mornings during term time from 10:15 to 11:30 at our Parish Centre on Lucas Gardens. Our space can happily host up to 35 parents and children. For Child Safety and Protection, we do maintain a register of those attending.

Our sessions are relaxed times of explorative play with many toys and a slide available to the children. Parents and Carers are able to a social moment to trade ideas, tips and experiences of and about childcare. We offer refreshments of coffee, tea, juice and biscuits to all who attend.

Our Buggy Group does have a special event at then end of summer: A Teddy Bear Picnic! This give the children a chance to play in the sun and introduce their favourite toy to their new friends. The date for the picnic is set each year by the organiser and is subject to weather.

Currently we must charge £1 per child per session.
